How does it work?
Over time, fat cells can expand where we least want them, such as under our chin, around our middle, buttocks or on the backs of our thighs or arms. To dissolve these pockets, micro-injections of PCDC (phosphatidylcholine deoxycholate), a naturally-occurring enzyme, are delivered into the targeted areas. After the injections are administered, the fat cells are broken down, absorbed and excreted by the body. The treatment safely, effectively, consistently, predictably, and permanently dissolves fat over a few weeks.
PCDC has been used in various medical applications since the 1950s and has been utilized for cosmetic treatments since the mid 90s.
How many treatments are needed?
Treatment requirements may vary depending on the amount of fat in the targeted area, differences in each patient's unique body chemistry and the desired result. Typically a series (three to six treatments) are needed, spaced two or more weeks apart.
What areas can be treated?
- Stomach
- Buttocks
- Back (under or over bra line)
- Inner thighs
- Backs of thighs
- Outer thighs or “saddle bags”
- Abdomen or "muffin top"
- Eye pads
- Chin
- Backs of arms
- Knees
Does it replace surgery?
LipoDissolve cannot replace dramatic surgical procedures, whole-body liposculpture, or extensive skin tightening based on lax underlying tissue. But on the right body type with small to medium fat deposits, LipoDissolve can reduce targeted fat and often accomplish excellent results without the extensive downtime or the complications sometimes seen with surgery.
How much does it cost?
We charge just $400 per treatment, per area of the body. For example, to treat both of your thighs, the price would be $400. Three to six sessions are typically needed to achieve the maximum result, although some patients are very satisfied after one or two treatments.
