Step 3: Treatment

Our experienced and skilled practitioners at Skin Rejuvenation Clinic will initiate treatment using an antibacterial face wash to ensure that the region being treated is free from bacteria. Before beginning the PlasmaSculpt® treatment, your blood will be drawn and spun in a centrifuge; growth factors will be isolated from the top of the serum before combining them with the Sculptra. The solution is then injected into your face using fine needles to maximize comfort while minimizing bruising, swelling, and infection risk. To fully reap the benefits after injection, five minutes of massage five times a day over five days following completion of treatment are recommended for optimal results. Our team uses advanced protocols to ensure comfort and safety, resulting in natural-looking skin rejuvenation.

Step 4: Follow-up

Immediately after your PlasmaSculpt® injections, you can resume normal activities. To ensure ideal results, it’s important to massage the area for 5 days afterward. This will improve both comfort levels and aesthetic outcomes. It may take a few weeks for visible results to appear, and you may experience some mild bruising, soreness, or swelling in the treated area. Your follow-up care ensures you achieve the best possible results with PlasmaSculpt®. Our team provides guidance on massage techniques and aftercare to maximize collagen production and skin rejuvenation.

Pre Care Instructions

• Avoid blood thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, Ginko Biloba, Garlic supplements, Green Tea, vitamin A, vitamin E, fish oil, St. John’s Wart, and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory products one week prior to treatment to help decrease bruising.  
• You may take Arnica 2-3 days before treatment to reduce bruising.
• Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment to reduce bruising. 
• You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. 

Post Care Instructions

• Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 hours after treatment
• Avoid makeup for 24 hours after treatment
• With any injection there is always the possibility of bruising. Topical arnica crème can be applied to help bruising heal faster
• Please contact us immediately if you notice any of the following:
  • Severe pain/color change (pale/dusty/blotchiness) of skin
  • Herpes or blister like outbreak
  • Severe swelling up to three times increase in size

What to Expect After PlasmaSculpt®

After your Plasma Sculpt injections, you can resume normal activities! Taking precautionary steps such as massaging the treated area daily during the following few days is recommended.

Some mild bruising and soreness or swelling may occur but will dissipate quickly. Results will typically begin to appear after two weeks and continue to improve for six months.
