What is PRF?

Platelet-rich Fibrin (PRF) is an advanced platelet concentrate treatment that utilizes white blood cells, growth factors, and fibrin to invigorate the skin, stimulate hair growth, and accelerate wound healing. During the centrifugation process, your blood is placed in a tube without an anticoagulant, allowing for the formation of a spongy, gel-like substance enriched with platelets, stem cells, growth factors, and fibrin. This substance can be injected into the skin to target signs of aging, hair loss, or skin healing. By utilizing the natural concentration from your own blood, PRF works in synergy with your body’s mechanisms to produce astonishing outcomes.

Why Choose PRF? What Can Platelet Rich Fibrin Treat?

PRF treatments can improve various concerns, including thinning hair, hair loss, volume loss, acne scarring, fine wrinkles, irregularities, loose and crepey skin, jawline and sub-malar rejuvenation, skin elasticity on the hands, and décolletage rejuvenation and restoration.

What Sets Platelet-Rich Fibrin Apart From Other Similar Treatments?

Unlike other similar treatments that use synthetic materials or chemicals, PRF is created entirely from the patient’s own blood. This not only decreases the risk of allergic reactions or infections, but it also means that the PRF is completely natural and safe for the body to use. Additionally, PRF contains a high concentration of growth factors and other beneficial proteins that can accelerate healing and promote tissue growth. When it comes to finding a safe and effective treatment for injuries and illnesses, platelet-rich fibrin is certainly worth considering.

Treatment

First, we begin by sanitizing the treatment area with an antibacterial face wash. PRF is derived from your blood, which is obtained from your arm in a single vial, similar to a regular blood test. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets and growth factor-rich plasma. After the separation is complete, the PRF is carefully extracted from the top of the vial and transferred into a syringe. Using a fine needle, the PRF is gently injected into your skin. The therapy is well-tolerated and does not require any anesthesia. Additionally, since the platelets are extracted from your own blood, the risk of adverse reactions is minimal.

Once extracted, the activated platelets and growth factors are then gently injected into your face using a fine needle. Our approach focuses on maximizing your comfort while minimizing any potential bruising, swelling, or infection risks.
