Step 2: Treatment Planning
You will get a treatment plan created just for you. A typical plan will include at least three initial treatments spaced about four to six weeks apart.
Step 3: Treatment
The Genius Radio Frequency Microneedling appointment is anywhere from 30 minutes or longer. A topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment on the skin for 1 hour. Following the treatment, your skin will look a little red and there may be minimal bruising. The skin may be dry 1-2 days after treatment and sloughs off in 3-5 days.
Step 4: Follow up
Your aesthetician will schedule a follow-up appointment to evaluate your progress and/or perform another treatment.

Pre Care Instructions

- Prep your skin with medical grade skincare recommended from your provider
- If you are instructed, begin use of a pigment controller (i.e. hydroquinone) before your treatment and continue use up until the treatment day
- If you have ever had a cold sore (Herpes simplex 1) or shingles, please notify your provider and you will receive a prescription for an oral antiviral medication.
- Tylenol can be taken before the procedure to help with discomfort.
- Injectables must be done 4 weeks before the procedure
Post Care Instructions

- Continue taking any prescribed prescriptions as directed by your provider.
- Day 1 (day of the procedure) Use an occlusive medical grade moisturizer
- Day 2-7 cleanse your skin with a medical grade gentle cleanser and moisturize as often as needed with a medical grade moisturizer.
- Day 3 begin use of a broad spectrum spf 30 in the morning
- Avoid excessive exfoliation and significant exposure to the sun for at least 2 weeks post treatment
- You may begin use of your pigment controllers and retin-a 2 weeks post procedure.
- We recommend a facial 6 weeks post treatment to help with hydration and exfoliation
- Injectables can be done 4 weeks post treatment

How many Genius Radio Frequency Microneedling treatments will I need?
Typically, 1 to 3 treatments are recommended to achieve the best results, however, results may be seen in as few as your first couple sessions. Each treatment is typically performed 4 to 6 weeks apart, dependent on the area and skin type being treated.
Is this a good treatment for me?
This is a great treatment for both men and women of all skin types all year round.
How much downtime is there with Genius Radio Frequency Microneedling?
You will feel and appear slightly sunburned or rosy for a few hours, with all the redness resolving in about the next twenty-four hours. Over the next 1-5 days the skin will become dry and slough off around day five.
Does it hurt?
The topical numbing makes this treatment very comfortable. It may feel slightly prickly during treatment.
Why should I add a Moxi to my treatment?

Should I add PRP to this treatment?

Can I wear makeup after my Genius Radio Frequency Microneedling treatment?
Avoid wearing make-up or using cleansers on the treated area for 12 hours. Then use a gentle cleanser.
