The most recent addition to the RHA family, Redensity, is the first soft tissue dermal filler accepted by the FDA for superficial and perioral injections. Before treatment, we will cleanse your face with an antifungal and antibacterial cleanser to endure that the treated area is free of germs and sterilized. We may then apply a topical or local anesthetic to numb the treated area and ice for additional comfort.
We generally use cannulas instead of needles, which have a round front that reduces pain, bruising, swelling, and the risk of infections. Our staff has the expertise to ensure the best results when using cannulas.
RHA injections do not require recovery time. Slight swelling or redness may be present at the injection site, but it should dissipate shortly. Patients should avoid strenuous activities for 24 hours.
