Step 1: Consultation

During our consultation, we will attentively listen to your concerns and respond to your questions in detail. Step 2: Treatment Planning

We will create an effective plan that will address the features you would like to be improved and enhanced in accordance with your objectives. We will then discuss the different Juvéderm filler choices and provide suggestions based on our many years of expertise in providing optimal cosmetic outcomes and delivering exceptional aesthetic results.

Step 3: Treatment

We will begin treatment by cleansing your face with an antibacterial cleanser to guarantee the area to be treated is sanitized and free of germs. We may then numb the area with topical or localized anesthesia; ice may also be applied for further comfort. We use cannulas for the injections when possible.

Even though cannulas look like needles, they have a rounded tip which decreases discomfort, bruising, swelling, and the possibility of intravascular infection. Employing cannulas requires unique proficiency and expertise, which we possess, to achieve optimal results.

Step 4: Follow-up

The length of time between follow-up visits provided is determined by the type of procedure and the area that was treated. Patients usually choose to have follow-up treatments at different times depending on the area of treatment, and these timelines are generally 6 to 12 months for follow-up treatment for wrinkles, and 6 to 12 months for lip enhancements.

Pre Care Instructions

• • Avoid blood thinning medications such as, aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, vitamin E, fish oil, St. John’s Wart and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory products one week prior to treatment to help decrease bruising.  
  • Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment to reduce bruising. 
  • You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.  
  • Avoid vaccinations/boosters at least four weeks prior to filler appointments. 
  • Avoid any dental work or cleaning at least two weeks prior to filler appointments.  

Post Care Instructions

• • It is normal to have localized swelling and redness at injection site immediately after treatment. 
  • With any injection there is always the possibility of bruising. Arnica cream can be applied after injections to help bruising heal faster.  
  • DO NOT massage, touch, or press on the injection site. Avoid hard pressure (facials, massage, tight fitting hats or headbands, etc.) on the injection sites for 24 hours. 
  • Avoid makeup for 24 hours after treatment.  
  • Avoid any strenuous activity (cardio, heavy lifting, yoga, etc.) for 24 hours after treatment.  
  • Avoid hot tubs and saunas for 24 hours after treatment. 

We strongly recommend medical grade products for your daily skin care regimen to help with overall skincare goals.  

Please contact us immediately if you notice any of the following after treatment: 

• • Severe pain and/or color change (pale/dusky/blotchiness) of skin. 
  • Herpes or blister-like outbreak. 
  • Severe swelling up to three times increase in size.
