After evaluating your desired outcomes and goals for your skin, we will create a tailored treatment for you. Before treatment begins, we will initiate a therapeutic skin care plan to maximize your results and start your journey to radiant, youthful skin.
Our Moxi laser treatment is tailored to your individual needs and is administered by a professional practitioner or aesthetician. A topical anesthetic cream may be applied before the procedure to minimize discomfort. This will take 15 to 20 minutes to take effect.
The Moxi laser delivers mild micro-pulses of fractionated laser energy to the skin. You may feel mild discomfort and a little heat during this quick treatment. There is typically little downtime, and you can return to work the same day. You may apply makeup immediately after treatment.
We will set up an appointment one month after treatment to evaluate your results. We will answer any questions regarding the treated area and whether you have attained your desired results.
The Moxi laser effectively treats a variety of common skin conditions. These can range from discoloration and uneven texture to age spots.
After the treatment, you will likely experience an improvement in skin tone, texture, and radiance. You will also notice an overall reduction in signs of aging.
The Moxi laser can produce incredible outcomes in one single session. It is a quick treatment with little to no downtime and is suitable for all ages and skin types.
Moxi laser can be combined with other treatments to achieve superior outcomes. These treatments include Forever Young BBL, which helps reduce sun damage and pigmentation; HydraFacial to hydrate the skin; Microdermabrasion to address acne, acne scars, texture, and wrinkles; Chemical Peel, and Medical Grade Skincare Products which contain superior levels of active ingredients, making them more effective.
This varies from patient to patient. Some experience no discomfort. Some find it to be mildly uncomfortable. We offer numbing to help ease discomfort. You may feel a little warm during and after the treatment, however, it will subside quickly.
Topical numbing for 15 to 20 minutes prior to the procedure can be applied. If needed, we can offer you nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”).
You may be red for the first day. On the second and third days, as the dead skin cells move toward the top layer of the skin, you may notice fine little dark dots. Your skin will have some mild peeling and feel a little like sandpaper on days two and three.
Aftercare is simple! We will provide complimentary products for the first few days, then make sure you use moisturizer and sunscreen!
You may apply makeup after the treatment. We offer Oxygentix, which allows the skin to breathe. It is also an excellent cover-up that looks natural.
We do not recommend aggressively exfoliating the skin as it is healing. However, gentle brushing with a washcloth when cleansing the skin is acceptable to reduce flaking.
You can see noticeable improvements after a single treatment that appears within a week. Full results and radiant skin in three months. The number of treatments will depend on your treatment goals and the amount of correction needed.
Most patients receive a series of 3 treatments one month apart for optimal results, followed by quarterly treatments or more throughout the year. However, some find that they are pleased with their results after one treatment.
We recommend waiting at least one month between Moxi procedures.
Yes, the Moxi can be used on patients with darker skin.
Although the Moxi laser is gentle and non-invasive, we recommend waiting at least one month between procedures.
The Moxi laser is suitable for all skin tones; darker skin tones can safely be treated with the Moxi laser.
The Moxi laser is non-invasive and gentle. You can return to work immediately after the procedure. You may also resume regular activities.
There is practically no recovery or downtime after a Moxi laser treatment. The skin may look pink and have a tingly sensation like that of a sunburn, but this will disappear within a few hours.
Costs vary depending on the number of treatments needed and the extent of the treatment.
