Frequently Asked Questions
How many sessions will it take?
One session per area. Two to five areas can be treated during one procedure (depending on the size of the areas treated).
Is there scarring?
One to three tiny incisions (approximately 2-4mm) are typically created for each area. With time, these sites are typically almost unnoticeable.
Will I have to take off work?
Most people are back to work in 1 to 2 days.
How long will the procedure take?
Approximately one hour per area, plus one hour of preparation time, and 1/2 hour to get ready to go home.
Does Allura ProLipo Laser Liposuction hurt?
No, we keep patients very comfortable. Occasionally, there is mild-to-moderate discomfort, which is addressed with local anesthesia.
What is used for pain management after the procedure?
Customized oral painkillers for you. Most do not need them for more than 1 to 3 days after the procedure.
Do I need a driver?
You should have a driver.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes, it is important we evaluate your medical history and goals for treatment in a pre-treatment consultation.
How long do I wear the compression garment?
Approximately 3 to 10 days depending on the area. We will provide the compression garment for you at the time of your treatment.
When will I start seeing results?
In general, immediately after the procedure.
