If you are hoping to achieve clear skin, Skin Rejuvenation Clinic, conveniently located in Edina, can help! For our vascular laser treatment, we use the 1064 Nd:YAG laser (similar to the ClearV Laser) to heat and destroy unwanted broken blood vessels. While cooling the surface of the skin, heat is gently delivered to these vessels and capillaries, causing them to collapse, reabsorb then disappear leaving you with beautiful skin!

Step 2: Treatment Planning
Based on our conversation, we will determine the areas to be treated.
Step 3: Treatment
Your treatment will be in one of our comfortable treatment rooms.
Depending on the area to be treated, a topical numbing gel will be applied to help you be as comfortable as possible.
One of our physicians will perform the treatment which has been customized for you.
The treatment may be mildly uncomfortable, but very tolerable.
It is always recommended to use sunblock after the treatment, we may recommend skin care products to reduce inflammation and redness.
Step 4: Follow up
Follow-up is recommended after 6-8 weeks to evaluate the treatment results.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there any downtime?
Most of the time there is not any downtime. Occasionally when vessels are closed down, they may look darker for 4-5 days before disappearing.
Can you wear makeup after the treatment?
Yes
Does this treatment hurt?
There is very little discomfort with the treatment. However, if there is a large area of vessels on the legs it may get more uncomfortable. We can offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) if needed.
How many treatments will I need?
One to three. Often a series of three treatments spaced 4-8 weeks apart is recommended, especially for leg vessels. However, after one treatment many of the abnormal vessels will disappear.
