Step 2: Treatment Planning
We will create the right treatment plan for you and your unique goals.
We may prescribe you vaginal hormone cream for two weeks prior to your treatment.
Step 3: Treatment
We may perform a pregnancy test in the office on the day of treatment.
We will draw your blood for the PRP (platelet-rich plasma) that will be used following the laser and for The Ahhh Shot.
We will apply a topical numbing cream into the vaginal vault for fifteen to thirty minutes.
Your provider (one of our women physicians) will enter customized parameters specifically for your treatment into the diVa computer software.
We insert the diVa handpiece into the vaginal canal, this laser treatment will last five-eight minutes as it slowly rotates out of the vaginal canal.
Following the treatment, your topical PRP solution will be placed in the vaginal vault to promote healthy tissue and a quick recovery.
You will want to wear a thin vaginal pad following the treatment for some light discharge and possible light bleeding.
Step 4: Follow upÂ
We will make a follow-up phone call the next day and also in a month to determine your progress.

How does diVaTyte work?
diVaTyte uses powerful, comfortable contact cooling to protect the top layer of skin while permitting safe infrared energy to heat deeper layers of tissue where collagen and elastin live. What is the recovery period following diVaTyte?
Most women can resume normal activities (including sex) or return to work shortly after their diVaTyte treatment. You may notice some mild redness or slight swelling, but this typically fades over a few hours.
How many diVaTyte treatments will I need?
A typical diVaTyte treatment plan comprises a series of 3 or more treatments, spaced about four weeks apart for optimal results. We will recommend a program based on your unique goals and condition.
