Before your treatment

- Avoid blood thinning medications such as, aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, vitamin E, fish oil, St. John’s Wart and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory products one week prior to treatment to help decrease bruising.
- Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment to reduce bruising.
- You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
What to expect after your treatment

- It is normal to have localized swelling and redness at injection site immediately after treatment.
- With any injection there is always the possibility of bruising. Arnica cream can be applied after injections to help bruising heal faster.
- DO NOT massage, touch, or press on the injection site. Avoid hard pressure (facials, massage, tight fitting hats or headbands, etc.) on the injection sites for 24 hours.
- Avoid makeup for up to 4 hours after treatment.
- Avoid hot tubs and saunas for 24 hours after treatment.
