Unlike standalone laser treatments, combination therapies like our North Star Peel or South Beach Peel address multiple skin concerns at once. This synergy delivers deeper results, faster healing, and more dramatic improvements in skin tone, clarity, texture, and overall rejuvenation.
The North Star Peel combines a deep ProFractional® laser (similar to Fraxel), a MicroLaserPeel® (removing top layers of skin), and a Photo Facial or BBL (for brown spots and other skin pigment concerns). The North Star Peel is our most comprehensive laser combination, excellent for patients who can commit to several days of downtime and are trying to correct multiple skin care issues.
A West Coast Peel combines a ProFractional Laser with a MicroLaserPeel. This is a great resurfacing treatment in which patients can see results in acne scarring, texture, fine lines, and wrinkles.
A South Beach Peel combines a MicroLaserPeel and a BBL. This is a “sun-worshiper’s” two-part laser service and is great for patients with pigment concerns.
The Manhattan Peel is for those wishing to correct pigment and sun damage. This is one step up from the South Beach Peel. It is a combination of a ProFractional laser administered with a BBL service.
Finally, our St. Bart’s service combines a BBL with a SkinTyte service and is the ideal 1-2 punch to combat tone, tightening, and pigment at the same time.
You will meet with an experienced provider to determine which laser combination is best for you. This consultation is a personalized opportunity to discuss your skin concerns, goals, and lifestyle. We’ll evaluate your skin type, review your medical history, and answer your questions to ensure you feel informed and comfortable before moving forward with a customized combination laser treatment plan.
Based on our conversation, we will recommend the best combination treatment for you. Your provider will customize a treatment plan tailored to your unique skin concerns and goals. We’ll outline what to expect during and after treatment, discuss recovery timelines, and ensure your plan aligns with your desired outcomes.
We apply a topical numbing cream to the skin for 30-45 minutes for all the treatment combinations. A physician will then perform your treatment. We will give you topical ointment or cream to be applied for the next several days. Our advanced laser technologies work at multiple skin depths, providing comprehensive skin resurfacing. Treatments are performed with precision and care, ensuring your comfort throughout the process. After treatment, we’ll discuss aftercare guidelines to promote healing, collagen production, and a smoother, more radiant complexion.
Follow-up recheck appointments will be scheduled about one month later. This visit allows us to assess your progress, answer any questions, and determine whether additional treatments would optimize your results. We’ll also guide you on a maintenance plan, including skincare recommendations, to help prolong your skin rejuvenation and maintain a youthful, refreshed look.

They may be uncomfortable and feel warm, however, we can make you comfortable with various numbing techniques.
We always use a topical numbing cream in addition to a cold air device to cool the skin. In areas that could be more sensitive, local lidocaine is used. We also can use nitrous oxide (laughing gas) or prescribe oral medication to reduce discomfort.
Depending on the combination treatment chosen for you, you may have had some redness and could have several spots of blood on your face, or for a deeper treatment the area could be covered with many more spots of blood. Also depending on the treatment, you may also have some swelling for 3 to 4 days.
The redness will resolve in an average of 4 to 7 days depending on the depth of the treatment. Typically, the little areas of blood wash off in the next 24 hours after treatment.
We will give you a cream or an ointment to apply to the treated areas for the next 4 or 5 days.

Avoid sun exposure, retinol, and certain exfoliants for 5–7 days before treatment. Your provider will give you personalized prep instructions based on your treatment plan.
