Before your treatment

- Avoid blood thinning medications such as, aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, vitamin E, fish oil, St. John’s Wart and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory products one week prior to treatment to help decrease bruising. Â
- Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment to reduce bruising.Â
- You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Â
- Avoid vaccinations/boosters at least four weeks prior to filler appointments.Â
- Avoid any dental work or cleaning at least two weeks prior to filler appointments. Â
What to expect after your treatment

- It is normal to have localized swelling and redness at injection site immediately after treatment.Â
- With any injection there is always the possibility of bruising. Arnica cream can be applied after injections to help bruising heal faster. Â
- DO NOT massage, touch, or press on the injection site. Avoid hard pressure (facials, massage, tight fitting hats or headbands, etc.) on the injection sites for 24 hours.Â
- Avoid makeup for 24 hours after treatment. Â
- Avoid any strenuous activity (cardio, heavy lifting, yoga, etc.) for 24 hours after treatment. Â
- Avoid hot tubs and saunas for 24 hours after treatment.Â
